I decided the other day to try out a Sanquhar pattern, but had no desire to make socks or gloves. A hat was the perfect venue. Altogether, this pattern was very easy to memorize and the entire hat took about 5 hours. The Cascade 220 pure wool yarn has a lovely hand to it, and the warm cream and charcoal created a hat which was a very pleasant surprise when done.
