I have a great appreciation for the lovely knit work that the Salish people create. I grew up in the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island and was fortunate to see the original sweaters. My design was influenced by my childhood memories.
This sweater is warm and practical and actually quite quick to make. Having deep pockets is my favorite thing about Winter’s Raven! I have added brief suggestions on how to make an optional lining.
