Wintery Baubles
Three different motifs in three different sizes, in overlay crochet, to make a myriad of wintery baubles!
Choose between a snowflake, a 6 point-star, a mix of both I’ve called a “starflake”, or a plain one. Each motif creates a half sphere, two of them form a bauble. You can use a decorative crochet join, or seam them with a tapestry needle. You can use polyester stuffing, or join them around an existing store made bauble - mismatched plastic baubles from the second-hand store are perfect for that!
What you get:
- A 10 page pdf with written instructions and detailed tips
- A second pdf with pictures
In the future I might add a step by step photo tutorial as well
Each motifs comes in three sizes, but the hook and yarn you choose, and your tension, will determine the final physical size.
Using Drops Safran and a 2.5mm hook, my finished baubles diameters are 4cm (Small), 5cm (Medium) and 6cm (Large).
Using Scheepjes Stone washed and a 3.5mm hook, the small bauble diameter is 5.5cm.
