About
Wisdom is a generously oversized sweater that is knit top-down in the round, featuring a 3-color blackthorn branch and flower motif. The neckline fit is easily customized and would look excellent as a mock-neck or turtleneck!

The Download
When you purchase this pattern, you will receive a spreadsheet download (your choice of Excel or OpenOffice). You will be able to enter your gauge and your measurements and get back a pattern that is customized for you!

For printers: please note that the pattern background is light grey, not white.

A size chart of measurement inputs is also included, corresponding to bust sizes ranging from 29” to 85”. This is included for those who are making gifts or who just don’t want to deal with measuring; it is based on the Craft Yarn Council standard women’s sizing chart.

Fit, Yarn Use, and Testing
Your final sweater is expected to fit with 8-11 inches of positive ease across the fullest part of your chest and upper arms.

Because this pattern is customizable to size and gauge, it is hard to estimate your yarn consumption. I have done my best to calculate estimates, but I think the most accurate estimate I can give is this: “If you’ve knit a colorwork sweater before, you’ll use about that much yarn.”

On testing: I had three wonderful testers for this knit, but I would love to continue working with more testers so that a wider range of sizes can be tested!
