There’re 12 different sections so you only do the ones you want to! That way maybe everyone’s design will be different! So, make
it your own, I’m so excited to see your creativity! All the patterns have the same stitch count across so all fit together. My Testers got very adventurous and creative with their blankets, in the download I have all of my testers yarn and brands so you can see their beautiful works and the yarn they used.
This design is also the same stitch count as my Spiritual Flow
Design, so you can mix those patterns in with Wise Spirit too!

Wise Spirit is a 66 +1 pattern repeat. 66 stitches + 1 for the last stitch, +1 for the turning chain for your first single crochet and +2 for your anchor stitches. All your starting chains are as follows.
1 repeat, 70 chains. 2 repeats, 136 chains. 3 repeats, 202 chains. 4 repeats, 268 chains.

I used Drops Alaska, an Aran yarn, its much thicker than I realised but I used a 4.5 hook because I wanted it to be thick as a wall hanging.
Off White 02, 16 skeins, 770g, 1078m. Light Olive 45, 6 skeins 288g, 403m. Toffee 66, 6 skeins 288g,
403m. Mustard 58, 1 skein, 30g, 42m. Cinnamon 71, 5 skeins, 242g, 339m. Peanut 68, 2 skeins 66g, 92m.
Dark Turquoise 52, 1 skein, 50g, 70m. For the border I used the surplus yarn.

In Double knit for a blanket measuring 107cm/42inches length by 100cm/39inches wide you’ll need 1610m for the background
colour and 1584m for the detailed coloured yarn. In Aran worsted weight for instance, my Kokopelli section,
1 repeat, measures 38cm wide by 35cm.

A huge thank you to my amazing testers, Barbara Glueck, Christina O’Connor, Sue Sweet, Bev Jackson, Karen Tovar, Kathryn Young, Pauline Billingham and Wendy Emmen. Information on their test projects is in the PDF. Also, thanks to Nina Mayer for her eagle eye with condensing the pattern!

The charts and border instructions are in separate PDFs with your downloads so look in your library.
