Wisteria is an ornamental flowering climbing plant with lots of bright green leaves and long lilac flower racemes. I tried to imitate its leaves and flower racemes combining two different lace patterns

The shawl is knitted in two pieces. You can knit both pieces at the same time, or one after the other.Once reached the desired length knit (graft) the two pieces together.

Width and length can be easily be changed adding or removing pattern repeats.

Gauge is not relevant, but a thicker yarn or needle combination will affect the finished size.

The shawl is a combination of two classical lace patterns, both charted (chart 1 and chart 2). Pattern also includes a extra chart of both chart 1 and chart 2.

before blocking: 111cm x 30 cm
after blocking: 170cm x 48 cm
