I came across this stitch pattern and it reminded me of the beautiful wisteria that blooms every spring near where I used to work and knew I needed to incorporate it into a pair of socks. I only wish I’d had wisteria colored yarn to knit them from! I was especially thrilled with how the lace pattern formed the top of the sock into a wave shape too. They are sized to fit a women’s size 8 foot, but they can easily be made longer
I have tried to spell out each round as simply as possible for knitters new to lace or patterned socks. Also, I am including instructions for a solid heel that is not shown at this time, so that you can make these to be worn with both open and closed back shoes. I made this an option because I forgot I was wearing them one day and jammed them into my Doc Martens and after running around all day it almost ruined the lace heels.

Materials:
1 Skein sport weight or sock yarn to gauge, approximately 350 yards (I used far less than a full skein of older Cephalopod Yarns Bugga from when they were still about 380yds)
1 set of 5 Size 2 Double Pointed Needles
Stitch Holder (Optional)
Yarn needle

As usual, if there are any questions feel free to contact me, and there are never any charts in my patterns.
