Make your own garland with big, fluffy, colorful wisteria flowers. The pattern will show you how to create wisteria bunches with changing colors, and with minimal sewing in ends.

All yarn is held double throughout.

You can also make the pattern with a single strand of yarn and a 3.0mm hook if you’d like a miniature version. These flowers will be 14 cm / 5.5 inch around and 11.5 cm/4.5 inches long.

The number of skeins will be dependent on how long and large a garland you’d like. For the large one pictured with four different flower color themes, I used 16 skeins of yarn for 30 wisteria, plus 4 green for about 28 leaves.

Blues: Midnight, como blue, dusty turquoise, white
Purple: Cascade yarns 220 superwash fingering deep wisteria, mystic purple, bleached denim, white
Magenta: Dark plum, grape juice, rosebud, tutu
Pink: Slate rose, pink pearl, peach dust, white
Plus highland green for leaves 3-4 balls

Wisteria flowers do not need blocking, but the leaves will.
