About:
Wistful Winter Hat is a Bulky Hat design. It is so quick to work up with a very snuggly 12ply yarn. I love Malabrigo for its buttery softness and stitch definition.
Designed with a larger twisted cable, running between two smaller cables, this pattern is both written and charted for working in the round in a range of sizes. Alternative instructions are given for twisted stitches on the 2 stitch cables.

This hat design has been tested and tech edited.

Finished hat will have approximately 4cm negative ease.

Recommended yarn: Bulky / 12ply weight Merino wool. The sample shown was knitted in Malabrigo Mecha.

Recommended needles: (adjust needles to meet gauge)
5.5mm/US9 for ribbing and 6mm/US10, 30-40cm/12-16” length circular needles.

Gauge: Knit in charted pattern in the round, 16 stitches x 26 rounds = 10cm/4” (6mm/US10 needles)
