This is a 9-page PDF download pattern for a knitted witch toy.

Finished toy is approx 23 cm / 9 inches high

This pattern is suitable for begginers and above

You Will Need

Black double knitting yarn, approx. 50 g
Small amount red double knitting yarn for the mouth.
Light Cream double knitting, approx. 15 g
Dusky Green double knitting yarn, approx. 15 g
Small amount of beige double knitting yarn
Small amount of dark brown double knitting yarn
1 pair of short length 3 mm knitting needles
2 x 3 mm double pointed needles
A red colouring pencil for the rosy cheeks
An optional Bat button for the belt (I got mine on eBay)
Toy filling
A darning needle for sewing up
A piece of pipe cleaner or plastic, thin straw about 12 cm in length

You will have some yarn left over and this may be enough for another witch should you wish.

You can change the size of witch by using thicker yarn or bigger needles. However bear in mind your knitted fabric should be tight so the toy stuffing remains inside the toy.

In total I used 6 different colours of yarn for this project.
