Halloween or Christmas, stiff or floppy brimmed- these hats add the perfect touch of mysterious silliness to any holiday celebration! Or you can always just wear them to the beach for some witchy sun protection.

• Pattern is written using US terminology. -Instructions are included for both the ‘floppy’ brim and the stiff brim. -Instructions are included for the Christmas Tree decorations. -Finished hat should fit the average adult/teen (22’ circumference). -You can use cotton yarn instead of acrylic yarn for a more breathable hat. If you double strand mercerized cotton the sizing should work up the same. -If you do plan to make the Christmas tree version, I sincerely apologize in advance for all of the ends to weave.

Materials:

-5mm hook
-300-320 yards of worsted weight acrylic yarn if making a Christmas Tree hat you’ll need green, red and bits of white, yellow and light gray
-Tapestry needle to weave ends.
-4mm hook if making Christmas Tree
