A Happy Halloween was never so certain with the charm of this adorable Crochet Witch Gnome amongst your decor. With her cute dress, stylish hat, braids, striped leggings, boots, and broom she’s sure to bewitch all who see her!
This listing includes two crochet patterns, the Crochet Witch Gnome and the Crochet Witch’s Broom. Each piece can be used separately or together. I think the broom would be adorable as part of a garland or wreath!

The Crochet Witch Gnome and Witch’s Broom are great for Halloween decor, gifts, play, and charming all those who may see her!

PATTERN INFORMATION

• Your PDF purchase includes written instructions and helpful photographs to aid in construction.
• The patterns are written in English using US crochet terminology.
• The patterns are formatted to have one featured image at the beginning of the pattern for reference with all other full-sized images at the end for easy, optional printing.

SKILLS NEEDED

• The skill level needed is advanced beginner for the Witch’s Broom and intermediate for the Witch Gnome (but ambitious beginners are always encouraged to try!).
• The techniques you will need to know include: chain, single crochet, standing sc, slip stitch, increase, invisible decrease, working in the back bar of the ch, half double crochet, working in the front and back loop only, bobble stitch, the invisible join, surface crochet, and the adjustable (magic) ring. Some hand embroidery is used when making the broom.

MATERIALS NEEDED

• yarn in your choice of colors (about 306 yds/280 m of worsted/aran for the Witch Gnome and about 17 yds/15.5 m of worsted/aran for the Witch’s Broom)
• a size E/4 (3.5 mm) crochet hook
• stitch markers
• tapestry needle
• Poly-fil Stuffing
• pipe cleaner
• pins
• scissors
• chopstick to help stuff
• 2 buttons (approx. 3/8 inch /9 mm)
• Sewing thread coordinating with buttons
• sewing needle
• needle puller (optional)

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Using hook size E/4 (3.5 mm) the Crochet Witch Gnome measures approximately 14.5 inches (36.8 cm) from the bottom of the shoe to the tip of the hat with it standing straight up.
Using hook size E/4 (3.5 mm) the Crochet Witch’s Broom measures approximately 6 inches (15 cm) from the top of the handle to the bottom of the head.
