Witch Way to the Pumpkin Patch was born from a lack of desire to create the pumpkin ridges by sewing. I wanted a pumpkin that ridged on it’s own and required very little shaping from me. Thus, I give you…Witch Way to the Pumpkin Patch!

These fun, textured puff stitch pumpkins come in three sizes:
Small: 2.5” w x 2” h (3” with stem)
Medium: 3.5” w x 3” h (4” with stem)
Large: 4.5” w x 3.5” h (6” with stem/hat)

The gauge is a quick check:
9 HDC stitches = 2”
Puff row, 3 HDC row, Puff row = 2”

I used a 3.5mm hook, which was perfect for keeping the stitches tight enough and not hurting my hand while working a tight stitch.

Included in the pattern are directions for 2 stem sizes, the curly vine add-ons, and the hat. There is a free pumpkin leaf pattern available as well!
