Witchcraft cowl
This cowl is quick to make thanks to the bulky weight yarn and big hook.
It has a ribbed structure and an edge in single crochet stitches to shape it nicely.
The size can be easily modified. For a wider cowl, just chain more. For a longer cowl, make more rows. The number of base stitches does not matter at all and no counting of stitches is necessary. It is therefore a rather mindless pattern. The only thing one has to keep track of is to alternate hdc in back loops with hdc in front ridges. The special stitches are explained and illustrated with a picture. They give the cowl its knit-like appearance.
