With Epaulets for Sleeves
This pattern is
available for free.
Very unusual is the square-lined top to this cotton jumper. The neck is square; the epaulet sleeves give squareness to the shoulders; and the yoke is square. Angora wool is the softening medium for an otherwise severe garment, and it is used effectively to break the straight lines of the patterned sleeves and front.
MATERIALS: 8oz of cotton yarn; No. 14 and No. 10 needles; a small quantity of Angora wool In a contrasting shade to the cotton; 2 buttons and a crochet-hook.
