Withies Cowl
Please enjoy this free pattern. My enjoyment comes from creating and giving back a little something to the knitting community. If you would like to support the creation of future patterns, please consider making a small contribution via Paypal to: Paypal.me/Viktionary
Contributions go towards purchasing yarn for future designs and the occasional Earl Grey latte to keep the fires of creativity fueled. Regardless of whether you contribute or not, thank you for your support and kind words on my patterns.
This cowl was created using a simple lace stitch with some purl rows for interest and texture. The resulting pattern looked to me like dozens of little fields surrounded by wattle fences. Wattle fences are made from wood stakes and withies which are flexible willow branches. So I named this cowl Withies.
