This hat fits adult cats, small dogs (e.g. chihuahuas), and toys, with an optional chin strap to keep the hat on for any and all photoshoots.

The pattern uses US crochet terminology, and the hat is made using a 4mm crochet hook, DK acrylic yarn, and a darning needle. It is a 7 page pattern, with photographs throughout and guiding notes for the more complex sections.

This pattern is an excellent scrap buster and an opportunity to try out embroidery on crochet, with clear photographs for the moons and stars.
