This cowl is a great learn to crochet project. It starts with a round of single crochet, then rounds of half-double crochet, double crochet, and a chained loop trim. By the end, hundreds of each stitch have been worked. Throw in some slip stitches at the ends of the rounds and you have all the basics to move onto other projects.
