This worsted triangular shawl incorporates two distinct Aran cable stitches, with a faggotting lace, and a garter ridge stitch. It is knit bottom up to allow you to customize the shawl as you would like. The side edge features a small cable, while the focal cable is a more complex cable that truly makes a statement.

The finished pattern measures 50 inches wide across the top, has a hypotenuse of approximately 70 inches and has a depth of 41 inches on your flat edge side. The pattern contains suggestions for customization. There are also instructions for an optional crochet edging and tassels.

The stitches are charted only.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming some cable lace experience)

The sample was knit out of Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Worsted, in colorway, Fjord.
