According to Wikipedia, “A woggle is a device to fasten the neckerchief or scarf, worn as part of the Scout or Girl Guides uniform, originated by a Scout in the 1920s.” This versatile little scarf has a built in woggle and can be styled in a number of ways. The pattern is easily modified to change the length to create either a single loop or double loop. Gauge is not critical. Just use a needle that gives you a fabric that you like.
There is no seaming involved. The project is started in the round and transitions to flat knitting.

Many thanks to maryanne104 for being such an enthusiastic and helpful test knitter.
