A fun bonus sock to round off the year 2023. Use up some of your favourite leftover bits of yarn from this past year or enjoy your favourite mini skeins from an advent box.

These socks have a short row heel with extra mini gusset to give your heel enough room. The stitch pattern and embroidered flowers idea is borrowed from the Season to Blossom Advent shawl.

What will you need?
5 grams per colour stripe of sock yarn for contrast colours
1 main colour for the rest of the sock (50 grams)
(e.g. Het Wolbeest Super Sok 4 ply 75/25 (425 meters/ 100 gr)
Needles: 2.5 mm sock needles (US1.5)
Optional: a cable needle and darning needle

This pattern is my fifth and final pattern for 2023. It’ll be E1,25 until January 1, 2024 before returning to my standard sock price of E 3.50.
