Wolf
This wolf is not at all evil. He is fed and contented.
Most parts are knitted. Some parts are crocheted.
The wolf cannot stand alone, only sits. Height is about 12 inches (in a sitting position).
To make this pattern, you need:
Gray yarn (I used Yarn Art Angora Ram, 500 m/100g, color 359);
Dark gray yarn (wool blend, 250 m/100g);
Light gray yarn (acrylic);
A little black and yellow yarn;
- Double pointed needles 3 mm;
Сrochet hook matching your yarn (I used 2 mm hook);
Wire for the frame;
Hollow fiber stuffing;
Sewing needle;
Scissors.
Abbreviated terms used:
K – knit
M1 – make a stitch by lifting strand between stitches from front and knit in back of strand
P – purl
st – stitch
K2 – knit 2 stitches together
P2 – purl 2 stitches together
MR – magic ring
ch – chain stitch
sc – single crochet
inc – increase (2 sc in one stitch)
WS – wrong side
This pattern is at an easy/intermediate level. Previous amigurumi experience is recommended. You need to know how to work stockinette stitch on double pointed needles. Pattern includes 15 pages of detailed instruction in English and color photos of the work-in-progress and finished product to help guide you along.
