Wolfeboro Mittens and Hat
These colorwork mittens and hat were designed for Nash Island Light, a yarn from Maine Island wool that manages to be silky and crunchy at the same time. Starcroft yarns has a new put up and some new colors.
The mittens use approximately 95 yards of color A and 65 yards of color B.
The hat uses approximately 100 yards of color A and 60 yards of color B.
I find that when I do stranded colorwork with very small carries my work gets tighter, so be sure to check you gauge. I had to go up to a US7 on the top of the hat.
