Wolfie
Wolfie is a perfect project for those sport weight left-overs, in every color combination your heart desires. The colorwork, with its bold, graphic lines and shapes is easy to work, very rhythmic and highly addictive. It looks just as good in some eye popping high contrast colors as it does in something more subdued and tonal, depending on the effect you’re after.
And, if you decide to use fresh yarn, you can make a matchy-matchy yin & yang set out of just two 50 gr skeins, by simply reversing the main and the contrast color!
CONSTRUCTION
After the cast on, Wolfie is worked in the round from the brim to the crown.
Note on the Corrugated Ribbed brim
Since a lot of knitters dislike purling while working colorwork, two sets of instructions are given for the Corrugated Rib. The first one will instruct you to work the Corrugated Rib in the more traditional way, holding two strands. The second will instruct you to work the Corrugated Rib in two passes for every row, so you will be only handling one strand at the time.
