Finished hat:
8” H x 11” W measured flat.
The pom poms add some height to that. ☺
Yarns used:
MC: Super Bulky weight yarn such as:
Plymouth Yarn, Baby Alpaca Grande, 100 g - 110 yds -
101 m, 100% alpaca, Color # 610 Mushroom. 2 skeins.
CC: Super Bulky fluffy nylon yarn such as:
HiKoo by skacel, Caribou, 50 g - 93 yds - 85 m, 100% Nylon, Color # 067, 1 ball.

Tension/gauge:
MC - Work 12 sts to measure 4” in St stitch using US 10 or
6 mm needles.
CC - Work 8 sts to measure 4” in St stitch using US 11 or
8 mm needles. This yarn creates fiber that is SUPER oozy & the gauge changes a lot when you stretch it! If you are
a very tight knitter, you may need to go up to size US 13.

Notions:
A pair of US 10 (6 mm) circular needles 24 long
A pair of US 11 (8 mm) circular needles 16 long
A set of US 10 (6 mm) dpns
A set of US 11 (8 mm) dpns
A crochet hook size P – 15 (10mm)
cable needle, stitch markers, tapestry needle.
Supplies for pom-poms: Sewing needle, thread, a small handful of polyester stuffing, 2 circles cut out of fake fur with a 2.5 inch diameter, and one circle cut with a 4 inch diameter.

Q. Where do I find the fake fur to make the pom-poms?
A. You can get fake furs at most fabric shops or order online. For perfect fluff, be sure that the fur has a 2.5 - 3” pile. I ordered mine from Artito on Etsy.com. She has great fake furs to chose from and they are sold in small pieces. ☺ Perfect for making pom-poms!
