For the 3rd year in a row, I designed a MKAL for Advent. From December 1st until 24th, you receive 20 rows of the pattern and if you can keep up, your shawl will be ready for Christmas.

This year, there are two choices. You can choose the basic version, a pattern in just knits and purls. Or get challenged and knit a double knitted shawl!

The basic version:
For this shawl I used an 8-ply Merino on my snuggle base, 218 yrd/200 mtr on 100 grams. You need 3.5 skeins in total. This shawl was knitted with needle US8/5mm.

The Double knitted version:
For this shawl I used my Settle base, a fingering weigh yarn, 459 yrd/420 mtr on 100 grams. You need 1.5 skein in color A en 1.5 sekin in color B. This shawl was kitted with needle US3/3.25 mm.
