This simple but elegant fitted hat can be knit in any fingering/sport weight yarn.The single cable band serves as eyecatcher while the woven/ linen stitch pattern adds a subtle texture.

It is a quick knit because only every other round is a pattern round and there is no seaming involved.

This hat is one size (to fit an average adult female head) but can be easily customised by adding stitches or changing the needle size.

The woven stitch pattern gives the otherwise quite drapey alpaca fabric stabilty. When using a different yarn than alpaca, the result concerning drape might come out differently.

Apart from yarn and needles you will need a cable needle, one stitch marker and a darning needle.

Pattern has been test- knitted. The pattern file consists of 3 pages with notes, chart and written directions. It is mainly in b/w with some boxes highlighted in green. There is one quite small colour photograph on the third page.
