This is by far the softest yarn in this book and the finished vest feels absolutely wonderful. It is both lightweight and beautifully textured. The collar, which is inset into the deep V of the front, is worked in a single piece at the end. This yarn is a little thicker than a standard DK yarn, so keep that in mind if substituting with another yarn.
