Level of Difficulty - Intermediate
Suitable for the intermediate knitter, this thigh length garment is knitted in basketweave stitch and has ¾ sleeves and pockets. The cardigan has a ribbed front opening band that is knitted at the same time as the fronts and ribbed bands that are sewn to the sleeve cuffs. It is closed at the front with a series of buttons.

Sleeves can be made any required length, as can the size of the cuff. Depending on the individual, the pattern is written so that the sleeve cuffs sit around the forearm, just below the elbow. Allow additional yarn if you are making the sleeves longer.
