Crisp Autumn mornings, colorful leaves carpeting the skeleton bones of summers now dormant garden. Snow flakes falling, casting white blankets across the now sleeping world. Springs first buds, giving birth to new life, sending fresh green shoots up to great the rising sun. Bulbs giving way to the spring blossoms of trees.

This pattern is perfect for Holidays or the whole year around! If knit in wool it is snugly warm and knit in cotton it is great for keeping the sun off your face in the summer. Playful yet functional, it takes the elf, Santa’s helper and witch hat to a whole new level!

Pattern fits sizes 21, 22 and 23 inch head sizes with easy adjust-ability for more sizing options.

Please note, this is the pattern for making an Elf / Witch hat. It’s not the hat!

Supplies:

Dk to light worsted weight yarn, 240 yards or a little more.

Us size 5 double pointed needles

Us size 8 double pointed needles

Additional circular needles in size 5 and 8 would also be helpful.
