Women's Patch Drop Sleeve Sweater
Level of Difficulty - Intermediate
This loose fit sweater is knitted with Adorn Silky Merino DK on 6mm needles to give a floppy drape. It is knitted in reverse stocking stitch with rib side panels. The back is worked in a contrast colour to the front and sleeves. Another colour is introduced in the polo neck and a thin stripe at the front waist band. Patches of a 4th colour are in the front waist band and the 3 needle cast off shoulder seam.
The full length sleeves and body of the garment can easily be adjusted to any required length, as there is no shaping in these sections of the garment. Allow additional yarn if you are making the sleeves or body longer.
Note: Because you are working with a larger needle than is normally used for this yarn, the garment will drop by approx. a few centimetres (depending on your stitch tension) after wear and washing. You may wish to allow for this when working the sleeves and the body up to the armholes.
