What makes this beanie so wonderful? It’s wonderfully warm, wonderfully simple, and if you look closely, it contains a subtle tribute to a certain wonderful female superhero in the slip-stitch/dip-stitch motif on the front and back.

Hat is knitted bottom-up, in the round, with a folded, ribbed brim. Instructions for dip-stitch technique are included in pattern, with photos. One size fits most adult heads.

If making hat in one color, you will need approximately 140 yards of worsted/aran weight yarn. If making with a contrasting color brim, you will need approximately 50 yards of your contrasting color, and 90 yards of your main color.
