Wood Nymph Cowl
Don’t be fooled by the intricate stitch-work, this Herringbone pattern is worked over a two row repeat and created a beautiful reversible fiber.
This cowl knits up quickly and is perfect for those in-between weather kind of days.
You’ll Need
- Around 200 yards of worsted weight yarn
- 4.5mm circular needles (24” cable)
- 6.5mm circular needles (24” cable)
- One locking stitch marker
This pattern is part of my Solidarity in Stitches Series meaning that all profits from sales are donated to Mutual Aid Organizations. 100% of sales of The Wood Nymph Cowl will be donated to Twelve Donations, a free customizable service that provides menstrual products to shelters, organizations, and the individuals who need them.
Notes
-
The gauge is 24 stitches by 20 rows in the Herringbone pattern = 4”
-
I recommend using interchangeable needles if you have them
-
Your end of row will float a bit while working the Herringbone Pattern - Don’t worry you’re not doing anything wrong
-
Your second round of ribbing will be slightly looser than the first - I like this effect as it creates a bit of a flare around your neck.
