Wooded Paths
Just a few months ago, my husband’s Aunt Jane learned how to crochet. Living in Northern Wisconsin, she’s quickly learning how lovely it is to wear crocheted items in the cold winter, and now she wants to make all the things! The first stitches she learned were chains, single crochets, and double crochets, and it was with this in mind that I created for her (and all of you) this Wooded Paths cowl and scarf.
If you know how to use these three stitches, you can definitely make this pattern! While I used the most AMAZING Meadow DK yarn from Backyard Fiberworks, this pattern will work with anything from sport to aran weights in any fiber type. Using a different weight yarn will change the gauge.
Pattern includes instructions for both a cowl and scarf. For those who prefer charts, a crochet chart is included. Instructions also include adjustments to make the cowl or scarf larger or smaller.
It’s perfect for crocheters of all skill levels.
Love you, Aunt Jane!! Thank you for being so inspirational
