This pattern was created for me to use in my stranded knitting classes to teach stranded knitting to beginners. It also fits in perfectly with my daughters’ cottage themed apartment. It is knitted in the round and sewn shut afterwards to form a double thick potholder with the design on both sides. It uses 2 contrasting colors of worsted weight cotton yarn. I used a US size 5 double pointed needles, but you can change up the sizes to get a smaller or larger potholder.
