Don’t you just love a walk in the woods? I’m also a huge fan of autumn colours so the chance to design some cushions using those colours was a little too much to resist. The result is, Mr Fox. He has inspired some woodland friends too and you can find them on my other patterns.

The back of the cushion is worked in a plaid/check design.

The finished cushion measures around 16 inches/45 cm. It fastens with four buttons (1&1/4 inches/3cm) and takes around 400g/560 metres of Chunky yarn, in this case Stylecraft Special Chunky which comes in a glorious range of colours just in case you fancy making Mr Fox look a little less traditional. I used: Meadow (100g shade 1065), Copper (80g shade 1029), Cream (70g shade 1005) and Black (140g shade 1002) and a 5mm crochet hook.
