Woodland Home Carry-Along Playset
Sturdy, adorable, and all-out cute, this carry along playset is perfect for the child on the go. It looks like a log that has been made into a house by some sweet woodland creatures. The playset can be used with any toys, amigurumi or not. It opens up a world of imaginative play for your little one!!
There are a few appliques that need to be made and sewn onto the finished “log”. It is a one-size fits all pattern. The pattern for the amigurumi rabbits pictured with the log home is not included. This pattern is just for the log home and all its decorations.
This listing is for an instant PDF download of the pattern, not a finished object.
Skill Level: Intermediate/advanced (due to the amount of separate parts needed to be made)
Supplies needed (complete supply list included with pattern):
Worsted weight yarn in the following colors:
-brown -white -red -grey -dark grey
Fingering weight:
-green
**Note: Brown is the main color. You will only need a minimal amount of all the other colors of yarn. Scraps are perfectly acceptable, so you don’t have to go and and BUY full skeins of all those colors. See the pattern itself for what color is used for which part and use your best judgement as to what yarn you already have that you can use. Colors are not terribly important (you can make your door pink or your toadstool blue), but the weight DOES make a difference.
Hook: H hook, and a smaller size to assist with weaving in ends, if desired.
What other special items may be needed for this project: 4 buttons, yarn needle, scissors, stuffing
Stitches/techniques used: All basic crochet stitches, plus Reverse Single Crochet. No tutorial included for Reverse Single Crochet, individual research will need to be done. It’s an easy stitch! I promise!! You will also need some basic sewing skills for attaching the strap, appliques, and buttons.
