Woodland Monster Bundle
This bundle contains the base Big Mouth Monster plus the Woodland add-on pack so that you can make a fun, cuddly monstrous friend who seems to be made out of moss, sticks, leaves, and fungus!
This is an intermediate level pattern, written in US terms. The monster’s arms, mouth, teeth, and eyes are all worked in as you crochet. The Woodland add-on items are sewn on and can be mixed and matched however you like. Add-ons include:
Stick horns (two different options)
Leaf ear
Mushroom ear
Shelf fungi
Log slice
You can use any yarn you like to make your monster but you will need yarn one size down from the body yarn in order to make the stick horns, teeth, and log slice (there are tips in the pattern on how to adjust for using the same size yarn). I used super bulky plush for the body and bulky for the sticks horns and teeth. You can also use different yarn sizes to make different sizes of add-ons!
Supply list:
-Main color yarn for body and arms. Yardage for different yarn sizes will vary but super bulky plush takes 97yds for body and arms.
-Yarn in accent colors for mouth, eyes, leaf ears, mushrooms, and shelf fungi (same size yarn as body)
-Yarn one size smaller than body for teeth, stick horns, and log slice.
-Hook at least two sizes smaller than yarn suggests. I use 7mm for super bulky plush and 4.5mm-5mm hook for bulky.
-Optional: small amount of yarn two sizes smaller than body for mini details like leaves on stick horn or mini mushrooms.
-Optional: smaller hooks for mini details
-Safety eyes. These are the oval eyes I used: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08MKRVSWY/
-Fiberfill stuffing
-Tapestry needle
-Stitch markers
