This pattern is for an overlay mosaic crochet square that can be used in other types of projects, such as blankets, pillows, satchel bags, table mats, etc.

Any yarn or hook will work, depending on the desired size of the finished square. I used yarn weight of 4 with a 5.5 hook, which creates a square of 13.5” x 13”.

For the sample square, I used approximately 2 oz of the back-ground camel color, 1.5 oz of charcoal, & .5-.75 of white, which can vary based on the hook size & tension.
