Woodland Pines Beanie in C2C
Combining the classic corner to corner block with extended front post stitches (of a sort) gives this beanie a beautiful waffle texture accented by an upside down ‘V’, which to me looks like pine trees, hence the name. This beanie is made in one flat piece from the bottom ribbed band up, the c2c joined as you go to the ribbed band, seamed at the back and finished off by drawing in the crown at the top. There’s plenty of stretch in the band and crown allowing a versatile fit. I was able to make the adult size out of one skein of Lion Brand Heartland.
Please note : This pattern has photos of left handed work. If you’re not left handed they will appear back to front. The written instructions remain the same though, and I’m always happy to help with any enquiries should you have any problems. It was also successfully tested by both right and left handed Crocheter’s.
