When I started crocheting again, I wanted to make a design inspired by the sorority that shaped by life so much, Alpha Delta Pi. While I love our colors of azure blue and white, I wanted to take a different color approach for this design. I’ve also been having a bit of a love affair with ruffles lately, so by drawing inspiration from our chapter flower, the Woodland Violet Ruffle Top was born. This size hook and the stitch I chose made an opaque enough fabric for my liking without being too dense for these summer months.
This pattern is also beginner friendly, consisting of just two rectangles sewn together and a ruffle hem.
