Woodsy Cowl
The dappled greens and browns blend in perfectly with the woods in early fall - I wanted to photograph this cowl in the woods, but having done a photo shoot for a sweater in this same yarn, I realized it is as good as camouflage.
Woodsy colors, wooden buttons… it is easy to see where the inspiration for this cowl came from!
I do not recommend substituting any old yarn for this pattern - it looks best with a crazy multicolored bulky thick and thin yarn. Have a dig in your stash for that awesome skein you bought a couple years ago and never used, or go buy that skein you just love but never figured out what you could do with!
You will need about 175g of the yarn, or 120 yds. You will also need two buttons approximately 2 inches across. Mine are 1/4 inch slices of cherry branches with holes drilled in, that I oiled myself. Wooden buttons can be bought here.
