Wool Gatherer in Japanese Butterfly Pattern
This pattern is
available for free.
The effective workbags of which we give an illustration is quite a novelty, and will doubtless appeal to the world of knitters both as a pleasure to make, and, when finished, as useful receptacle for wools. It is very easy to make up at home. The piece of knitting when finished, after being carefully ironed, is sewn firmly to a circular foundation of cardboard covered on both sides with coloured silk or satin. The bag thus formed is lined with coloured silk or satin, the full width of which is used, and when doubled over to meet the knitting makes the upper part of the bag, as shown in the illustration. Small rings are sewn round the outside of the bag about 3in. or 4in. from the top, and ribbon runners passed through them.
