Woolly earrings
Waste yarn + love for wool socks = Tiny wool sock earrings!
Perfect combo, am I right?
Woolly earrings are knitted similarly than ordinary wool socks: Ribbing, cuff, heel flap, gusset, insole and toe decreases. Scale is just a bit more tiny!
You´ll need::
waste yarn of your choice
Circular needles 1,75-2mm and 60cm or 3 double pointed needles
2 earring hooks
Needle for weaving in the ends and attaching the hooks
Gauge and yarn weight can be used to control the size of the earrings. Samples are knitted with sport weight Tukuwool sock yarn and 1,75mm circular needles. Yardage was so small that the scale didn´t even measure it. This is a perfect pattern for those small yarn scraps!
