Woolly Jumper Slippers
These are the softest and most comfortable slippers.
This pattern is suitable for a beginner and is written in simple terms in Australian/UK terms and US terms with descriptive photos. My contact details are on my patterns.
I made my first pair out of Mohair with a gold thread with a chenille sole and they were beautiful but definitely not suitable for a beginner.
I adapted the pattern for a beginner with a soft 8 ply, but if you are experienced, you might want to use the mohair as it is beautiful.
You will need about 60cm of hat elastic which won’t be seen, so it doesn’t matter about the colour.
I’m not too good at working out yardage so please only take what I’ve written here as a guide. I think it’s important to have slippers that are attractive, comfortable, inexpensive, hard-wearing and don’t fall off. I strive for these attributes.
