Woolly Lamb
Author says: This delightful “ethnic” waistcoat is designed specifically for working with homespun yarn, although it can also be made using a similar bobbly material.
Size is vague as the style can be worn loose or snug and the armholes are large.
Main yarn ‘M’ - 150g (200g) of coarse, uncarded handspun.
Contrast yarn ‘A’ - 25g.
The waistcoat is edged with a loop stitch made as follows -
Knit 1 row making a loop in every second stitch as follows: K1, loop yarn over 2 fingers of left hand, K1. Left loop and knit into next stitch, K1.
K1 row.
NB The waistcoat featured in pics is missing the loop stitch armhole edges and has been fulled.
