Stylish vest that goes with everything from pajamas to dresses

Woolly Vest makes the most of the cozy texture of bouclé yarns! It has tailored feel to it with shoulder and waist shaping. Double thick collar, hem, button bands and faux pocket flaps add to the smart look.

The quick to knit vest is worked seamlessly from the top down in Stockinette Stitch. The I-cord edge around the armholes is worked along the way. The faux pocket flaps may be attached on the go or in the end by sewing them in place. With snap down fasteners the vest may be worn open or closed.

Sizes

There are nine sizes from XS to 5XL with finished garment bust circumferences of 90.5 (101.0) 110.5 (121.0) 130.5 (141.0) 151.0 (160.5) 171.0 cm / 36 ¼ (40 ½) 44 ¼ (48 ½) 52 ¼ (56 ½) 60 ½ (64 ¼) 68 ½ inches. Choose a size that gives you around 15 cm / 6 inches of positive ease around bust. The vest is shown in size S in the images. Please note that if you want to alter the size of the garment, more yarn may be required.

Needles

3.75 mm / US 5, at least 80 cm / 32 inches long circular needle for the body AND
3.75 mm / US 5, at least 60 cm / 24 inches long circular needle for casting on the shoulder stitches, AND
3 mm / US 2.5, at least 80 cm / 32 inches long circular needle for the collar, button bands and faux pocket flaps. 

Other

6 snap down fasteners with a diameter of approximately 2 cm / ¾ inches
Removable stitch markers
Stitch holders of your choice (stitch cables, waste yarn or similar)
Tapestry needle for weaving in the yarn ends.
