My 5-year-old daughter loves elephants.
We’ve been talking about a hat decorated with an elephant appliqué for months and I’ve been looking for a perfect pattern for so long.
As there was no such knitted appliqué pattern available, I had to create one.

Please, meet Woolly!
Woolly is an elephant that you may use as an appliqué or alternatively a brooch if you like.
The appliqué is made in one piece using Garter stitch.
It is worked sideways and shaped with short rows.
