Woolness Hat
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
This Woolness Hat was homespun and knitted from very specific materials.
The flashy colours are spun from recycled Indian silk, and the wool was produced by an ancient breed of sheep, Manx Loaghtan.
These sheep are from the Isle of Man and are still unmixed till today with other breeds, to save the beautiful warm mocha shade of their wool. I was presented with a package of these materials by Woolness and as a thank-you I designed the Woolness Hat.
