The Woori Socks are comfortable, broken-rib socks featuring a thick ribbed cuff, a garter edge, and a continued broken-rib, short-row heel for comfortable wearing around the house. Knit with worsted-weight yarn, these socks knit up quickly and are easy to gift. The Woori Socks are worked cuff-down.

Sizing (#sizeinclusive):
- Sizes (1, 2, 3)

Foot Circumferences for sizes (1, 2, 3)

  • Size 1: 18 cm / 7 inches
  • Size 2: 21 cm / 8.25 inches
  • Size 3: 24 cm / 9.5 inches (Because everyone’s foot proportions are different, I have included instructions on how to adjust the length of the socks in the pattern, so it is fully customizable.)

Yarn:
- Worsted weight
--- The amount of yarn you’ll need will depend on the length of your socks. All sizes can be made with about 200 m/ 220 yd of yarn if knit at an ankle length
- Sample uses Lion Brand’s Fishermen’s Wool, Brown Heather

Needles:
- 3.5 mm, or US 4, for the main fabric, or a needle size that allows you to match gauge

Gauge:
- 22 stitches * 28 rows for 10 cm10 cm or 4 inch4 inch in broken rib in the round

Notions:

  • 2 stitch markers (one for BOR, one smaller)
  • Clip-on markers to count rows
  • Extra yarn/stitch holder to rest stitches on
  • Darning needle to weave in ends
